Kuranda District State College is a school very proud of its uniform and together with the P&C wishes to see all students dressed in full uniform from the start of the year. Please refer to the web page for uniform details and discuss any concerns with the principal in person. The uniform shop is open from Wednesday 23rd January - Friday 1 February between 9.00 and 11.00 am each day. Once the school year has begun orders can be made are the office and the P&C will complete the order each Thursday morning.

Kuranda District State College is very proud of the 2012 senior students.  We are very fortunate to have small cohorts of students in this day and age. The benefit of this is small classes and the one on one time students share with their teachers. This certainly assists with the succuss our university bound students have in gaining the required OP tertiary entrance scores. This year is the second year where 75-80% of our student wishing to go to university gained OP scores between 1 -5. This year we are very proud of Mia Dunne and Cameron Price both achieving OP 3 and Shae Woodham scoring an OP 4. These students are testament to the college and the relationship they had with their fantastic teachers. Go Kuranda.
