Marine Science provides opportunities for students to study
an interdisciplinary science focusing on marine environments and the
consequences of human influences on ocean resources.
What will students learn?
In studying Marine Science, students will learn about:
- oceanography
- marine biology
- marine systems — connections and
change
- ocean issues and resource
management.
How will students be assessed?
Students will complete the following assessments:
- data test (10%)
- student experiment (20%)
- research investigation (20%)
- external examination (50%).
