First impressions
last a lifetime. At Kuranda District State College we like to make
the very first impression count for our youngest of students. We welcome enrolments for 2020 prep students
beginning Semester Two.

Under 8’s Day
Under
Eights Week is an event proudly initiated by Early Childhood Australia
Queensland Branch. It has been running for 60 years across Queensland. Children from day care, schools, playgroups
and communities celebrate being under eight years old. Here at Kuranda District State College we celebrate Under 8’s day in
term 2. We welcome various community groups and local early childhood providers
to share in the day.
Transition to Secondary
Parents and
carers are invited to attend the 2019 Junior Secondary Information session and
new QCE information night for current Yr. 11 parents and students to be held on
Wednesday 19 June 2019.
SECONDARY
SCHOOL TOUR COMMENCES: 5:30pm starting
at the Secondary Administration Building.
JUNIOR
SECONDARY INFORMATION SESSION COMMENCES:
6:00 pm at the Science & Language Centre and will end at 6:30pm.
NEW QCE
INFORMATION SESSION COMMENCES: 6:30 pm at
the Science & Language Centre and will end at 7:30pm.
