General Mathematics’ major domains are Number and algebra, Measurement and geometry, Statistics, and Networks and matrices, building on the content of the P–10 Australian Curriculum.

## What will students learn?

In studying General Mathematics, students will learn about:

- money, measurement and relations
- applied trigonometry, algebra, matrices and univariate data
- bivariate data, sequences and change, and Earth geometry
- investing and networking.

## How will students be assessed?

Students will complete the following assessments:

- problem-solving and modelling task (20%)
- examination (15%)
- examination (15%)
- examination (50%).
